Flicx - Health and Safety

By following these simple steps when handling or playing on a Flicx Pitch you will ensure that you reduce risk to yourself while gaining maximum life out of your Flicx Pitch.

Never play Cricket on a Flicx Cricket Pitch without the necessary standard cricket protection. i.e. helmet, gloves, pads and box

Never attempt to move Flicx equipment (Pitches; Portable Modular Net System and Professional Coaches Trailer) without first  reading the safety instructions laid out and without the Flicx Safety and Flicx Handling Equipment (Flicx Safety Gloves; Flicx Carry Straps; Flicx Carry Cradle/ Flicx Carry Pole)

Never attempt to pick up the Flicx Cricket Pitches with your hands, this could cause damage to your hands and to your back . Ensure you follow standard Health and Safety Regulations when attempting to move the Flicx Pitches.

Always roll up the Flicx Pitch from the crease end first, this ensures that the sharp crease end is out of harms way;

Always re-roll the Flicx Pitch, when attempting to realign it.  Do not attempt to pull the Pitch.This will reduce risk of damage to your hands and back, while at the same time reducing damage to the interconnecting mechanism.

Do not play with Spikes on the Flicx Pitch, this could cause damage to your ankles, and damage the surface.

Ensure that the Flicx Pitch is rolled up and strapped when handling the Flicx Pitch. It makes it easier and safer to carry;

Never allow anyone to use the Flicx Pitch as a seat, this puts unnecessary strain on the interconnecting links;

Always store the Flicx Pitch in an upright position or slung on the Flicx Carry Cradle.

Always secure the Flicx Pitch to the surface using 4 or 6 inch nails, nailed into the specially made holes in the creases. Extra nails can be nailed along the edge of the Flicx Pitch if need be.
