Episode 13

Fantastic to hear more about the funding Surrey Cricket Foundation have put together in Episode 13 of #AskAsh – it’s going to increase the standard of cricket in state schools in the county over the next few years and who knows maybe create a future England star!! The Foundation will consider funding up to 50% of the cost of a 2G Flicx Pitch and the aim of the funding is to provide an opportunity for schools that may not be able provide traditional cricket facilities due to the size and lay out of their school site. Episode 11

The 2G Flicx Pitch is quick and easy to roll out for matches and practice however it does require 20-45 minutes to flatten before play so the pitch moulds to the under surface. In hotter climates, this process is sped up OR watch this episode of #AskAsh where there are a couple of tricks shown which will speed up the process for you and get your session started sooner.

Episode 10

A 2G Flicx Pitch is supplied in two half pitch batting ends for ease of transportation and to also give added versatility to the product as the batting ends can be rolled out in the nets, indoors or on the outfield for junior matches. Clipping the zipping the two rolls together is a simple 5 minute job which can be done by one person as Ashley Appleby demonstrates.
